The events of the last few weeks have suddenly caught up to me. I am dog tired. Not just sleepy, but tired to the point of not really wanting to do much of anything. Mentally drained.
Unfortunately, it is Wednesday night, and we have worship team practice and then small group prayer and Bible study. After last week's effort, there's a baseline below which no one can fall. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I tried to drop back into time and dust off something I had used 8 years ago.
Perhaps that was a clue that I was tired then too.
So pray that I will (even more than usual) be sustained and carried by the Holy Spirit's power and wisdom tonight. Because I'm running on fumes here.
